Any last questions?

What if I cannot make the scheduled coaching call?

The plan is to have at least 2 coaching calls a month and these will be scheduled at different times and days to support you attending. If you cannot make one, you are more than welcome to join another.

Will the coaching sessions be recorded?

Not typically, these are designed to be personally tailored and to preserve privacy of other attendees it is not intended that any recording made will be shared widely.

Can I get targeted assistance with my set up?

Yes. If you’d like individualised guidance tailored to your specific workspace, you can book a one‑to‑one telehealth appointment directly through our website.

These sessions provide personalised support based on your work tasks, equipment, space constraints, and comfort concerns. They are separate from the Home Office: Survive’n’Thrive mini course, which is designed as an education‑based resource.

To explore individual support options or make a booking, visit the Home page of our website and follow the link to Telehealth Appointments.

Is this course evidence based?

Yes. The content is informed by: Contemporary ergonomic principles & Australian workplace health guidance. Information is presented for education and self‑management, not as a substitute for individual clinical care.

How long does the mini course take to complete?

Each module is less than 10minutes long and if you are not interested in the content you may choose to skip it and return to it at a later point in time. The course is designed to be short and manageable. Most participants can move through the content in brief sessions, with the option to pause, reflect, and return as needed.

Can I complete the course at my own pace?

Yes. Once enrolled, you can progress through the content at a pace that suits your schedule.

Do I need to be "good with technology" to do this course?

No. The course is designed to be simple and accessible, with clear instructions and straightforward activities.

Can I use this course as evidence for workplace or insurance requirements?

This course is an education resource and does not replace an individual ergonomic assessment or formal workplace documentation where these are required.

Workplaces, insurers, and organisations vary in what they accept as evidence of ergonomic training or education. We recommend liaising directly with your workplace or relevant body to clarify their specific requirements.

Where organisations are agreeable, this course may be used as part of a broader ergonomic education approach. A certificate of completion can be provided when:

the course modules have been completed, and

the Thrive Lab coaching call has been attended.

Many workplaces value structured, evidence‑informed education as part of their approach to supporting staff who work from home. If your organisation is open to recognising online ergonomic education as a training activity, this course may be a suitable option.
